Ok so it's not my birthday, but I am currently taking inspiration from my birthday, actually my 6th birthday.
When set with the challenge of making a cake for a baking competition at work - children in need of course, we are not in the habit of having such frivolous fun on a regular basis - it was decided that the theme would be bears, and away from good ole Pudsey I thought about my own mum, who dedicated to birthday cakes, set about making for me a recreation of my own teddy bear, it was a myriad of butter creams and chocolate drops ... wonderful!
So Thursday night I'll be sculpting with chocolate cake, there'll be chocolate fudge fillings and 3D butter cream noses, I'll let you know how it goes, and most importantly who wins!
